About Us
Keystone’s dedication to provide experience, knowledge and personal service signifies our mission. Donald Cleaver, Keystone’s founder and CEO, created a company in 2003 with it’s sole focus on the electronic environment. Mr. Cleaver started in the industry in 1974 as an HVAC apprentice. His early years field tenure and later attaining a mechanical engineering degree, encompasses 47 years of electronic environment experience and knowledge. Now for 18 years with Keystone, one client after another have switched to Keystone’s services. This is why we say, “Keystone gets IT”.
Our Mission
“To Design, Build and Maintain Data Centers”
Data Centers and other Mission Critical facilities are all we do. By solely focusing on the data center design, build and continuing post-construction maintenance, Keystone clients greatly appreciate that all phases of a project are with the same in-house management personnel with focus on long-term business relationships. Keystone’s goal is to provide solutions for client’s daily tasks regardless of how small or large. You handle the computers; we will handle the rest.
Corporate Structure and Florida State Licensing
Keystone has licenses from the State of Florida for both General Contracting (CBC1251172) and Mechanical Contracting (CAC1814851). By combining a Florida state general contractor license with a mechanical contractor license, Keystone is uniquely positioned to handle all aspects of your facility. Our in-house mechanical engineers and maintenance personnel work together assuring a very high level of quality control. Because mechanical infrastructure requires a higher level of maintenance than any other support system, an improperly installed mechanical system will cause on-going failures and excessive energy usage.
Keystone does not subcontract mechanical installation. Unlike the National Electric Code (NEC), there is no National Mechanical Code. This can expose to sub-standard installation methodology by mechanical sub-contractors that are not vetted or trained for data center applications. Keystone mechanical specialists are experienced in all phases of the data center environment.
