Megger Testing

Data centers typically have miles of electrical wiring made up of both low and high voltage. In theory, the insulation on the wiring should have a resistance of infinity, but no insulation is perfect. Over time, the wire’s insulation can be subjected to nicks, scuffs, and the breakdown of the insulation itself. This can lead to current leakage.
To test for the occurrence of current leakage, Keystone Critical Systems and Advisors can come to your facility on perform a comprehensive Insulation Resistance Test, often called a Megger. One of the advantages of the Megger Test is that it is non-destructive. The measured results can determine if any given line is working as designed.

It doesn’t take a lot to see that Keystone Critical Systems specializes in all aspects of data center consulting, construction and maintenance. Give a call and let us show you how we can help maintain your data center of computer room as it was intended to be cared for
